[Solved] STILL: A version mismatch has been detected OS 3.1.0.0

i downloaded the installer (which should be fixed now) again and i still have the same problem.

it's working now. you have to "repair" the installation instead of re-installing!

I did a repair install - install new one then run it again and select repair...

Runs fine on Win7 now (but still as sluggish as ever...)

that's a windows specific thing. if you don't bump the version number, components might not be replaced. in order to release a fast fix, we didn't want to make new version with new version numbers and go through a test cycle again. hope that explains what happened.
