OS4 Arp to matrix pitch question

  • If arp to matrix is used to control OSC pitch, what's the relationship between velocity and pitch? 2 velocity values = semitone?

  • can't tell because it's not working at all for me. maybe i am doing something wrong ofcourse :D

  • OK, figured it out and it's SUPER easy. When you have Arp Note Input set as the mod source, and OSC pitch set as the Destination, the velocity to pitch conversions is really easy. at Velocity 64, you get your default root not, the key you're actually pressing to make sound. For each +/-1 value increase/decrease in velocity, you raise (or lower) the pitch by one semione. Simple, awesome! I finally have a way to compose melodies on the TI!
