Aye thanks for the adavice and a heads up from Huey...

THE MAIN ISSUE IS THAT WHATEVER IS DONE< EVEN ROLLING BACK TO OLDER DRIVERS THIS ISSUE WILL NOT GO AWAY>
IT HAS RENDERED THE VIRUS TOTALLY BLOODY USELESS>...
Access tell all to install this driver and im thinking great I've had issues for a week now with 3.0.5 this will solve it...
Laugh my feking pants of did it.
It does annoy me though.
One thought and the only thing I havent tried is there a way to totally reset the virus to how it came out of the box? A total reset?
I've gone through install after removal and install nothing and just hangs CUbase like Smauel L Jackson would say 'a muthaf#~43R
-
i'm sure a total reset wouldn't help. i just bought my virus today and i had the problem right from the start. so i bought it, and can't use it, yet.

Its all over the show this one....think Access have done a mighty fine cockup..
DO NOT INSTALL THIS UPDATE
-
I suppose we can expect a rather sheepish update coming along preeeetty soon...
-
Successfully reinstalled 3.0.5 after uninstalling 3.1.0 driver and software. Had to use forced update mode with the EXIT button pushed when plugging in the power cable. Otherwise the installer/updater would search endlessly for the TI...ah well hope access fixes 3.1.0 soon.

I'm running PT8 and I get "Your virus ti needs a software update".
Everything is up to date, time to rollback
PS: I hope you fixed arpeggiator sync issues with ProTools, ACCESS!!!

3.04
when i start my virus the display shows version 3.1, the controll center says the same. but when i start the controll center my virus display shows: version 3.04 for a short time.
yes, same here, could that be the reason of this version mismatch?
rolling back to 3.05 didnt help
anyone tryed to go back to 3.04??
-
It looks like only Windows users have this problem right?
-
Hi,
I can confirm that it was a wrong label in the installation.
Only 3.1.0.00 Window is affected.I've updated the Windows-Installer, so, if you are experiencing that specific version mismatch please download the current version.

Maybe Access could appease all of those who don't have a working virus by providing drivers that not only work, but work under win x64 !
-
thx marc, gonna try as soon as i get back home
anyone who can test the new installer please report if the problem is solved
-
Timo of course
