The new version is the one you are looking at...they just repaired the "old"/same version and put it up for download again.

when I load the Virus Control I get "A sync error has occurred. Press Stop and Play to Clear".
There is no stop or play on the control, this message never goes away.I also get Communication Errors and then nothinig works with rebooting Laptop and VIRUS TI factory reset! ARGGGGHHHHH
get in touch with support. i don't know if you had 3.0.5 installed but 3.1.0.00 is virtually identical to it. the sync errors are USB communication errors, nothing that Virus Control can really trigger and the driver hasn't changed. i'm sure support can assist you finding a cure ...
