Does anyone know if the Virus TI's LFO can be programmed so that it starts at key down, instead of it doing its own free-rolling thing? I need to create a pitch climbing effect, which has to be controllable rather than be random in its start point. A 'note' at say bar 5 needs to sound the same every time it's triggered by Logic.

Set lfo 1 destination 3/3 :
assign part : transpose and amount 100%Set Lfo1 3/3 : Trigger phase to 30 and lfo1 Rate to 0 and shape : triangle
Hope it works

would it not be easier to automate ie. draw ???
-
this method let you glide your sound without automate
and to control the length of waveform you have to add amount of value to lfo rate just like the sweep fx
or i didn't realize your post !!! -
Set lfo 1 destination 3/3 :

Sorry Heckmat, I don't understand destination 3/3:
assign part: transpose and amount 100% -
on your virus:
1st : press Lfo1("SELECT" Button)->Edit Lfo1
it has 3 page and go to page 3 by press parameters button ,if you look at the LCD you will find the destination 1/x at top of the LCD PANEL
and then set these parameters -> assign part : transpose and amount 100%2nd: find "EDIT" on modulators section and press it
and then at page 1 (lfo 1/3) set : Rate to 0 and shape : triangle
then go to page 3 (lfo3/3) and set Trigger phase to 30 and key follow :offyou can also find these parameters on your virus control(vc)

Couldn't you just use the LFO 3 in ENV mode?
-
good question
but unfortunately lfo3 doesn't have env mode
but it's possible with lfo3 as well but for rising pitch sound we have to add value into amount parameter Manually -
Right on!

lfo set to triangle with the contour al the way to the right is a ramp up lfo. Assign this to transpose and have trig set to 1 so it starts at the bottom each time a note's pressed. Then change the lfo speed to suit the tracks bpm or sync it etc
