Loaded up the new Cubase 5 update and TI 3.1 OS update and having some problems with automation. I'm not sure if this was an issue with prior version of Cubase, but appears since all automatable perimeters are now added... When editing automation in Cubase everything seems 'stuck' meaning you can't drag it from it's exact point unless using the pencil tool. This is not the case with ANY other VST, as I've run tests with all my other VSTi's. Quite a set back when editing your curves for detailed and smooth editing. Anyone else know what I mean?
Here's a step by step.
1) Load VC Plug
2) Record some basic midi.
3) Open an automation lane for filter cutoff 1 ( for example).
4) Enable 'R' (read) on the channel.
5) Try editing automation points with the arrow tool. NOTHING HAPPENS! It's stuck where the Virus has it's location at.
...6) Sure you can use the pencil tool, but it's still screwy. When drawing long and more specific points of automation, this is not efficient.
Can anyone confirm?
