when i download patches it tells me to go into /Library/Application Support/Access Music/Virus TI/Patches on my mac but there is no folder called access music in application support, in the audio folder i find another folder called presets and i put the file in there and i still cannot locate them when i load up the vst any help is very appreciated

I have same setup as you & it should be in your....
Mac HD / Library / App Support / Access Music / Virus Ti / Patches
In the Virus TI folder you should have these 4 folders ....Cache....Common....Patches....Remote Templates
NOT in your....home / Library / Audio / Presets / Etc Etc
