OS 4.0.5.01 is extremely unstable on my macbook

    Anyone with a macbook, and or leopard 10.5 users in general having stability issues with OS 4.0.5?


    After about 10-15 minutes of using it, the plugin starts glitching and then I get stuck MIDI notes, I also get distorted (jittery) audio, and it is extremely CPU intensive.
    Previous version was working great on on my desktop (Snow Leopard.) This version runs horribly!

    I'm having the same issue you describe.


    I'm using Live 8.2 btw, I wasn't able to load VC at all in 8.1.4/5 after I'd run Live a few times.


    I've got tickets going with support from Ableton & Access at the moment so I'll post here if anything comes of it.


    I did read somewhere yesterday that the 10.6.5 update to SL will improve some USB issues, but that probably won't help you on 10.5 unless 10.5 gets updated too.
