Virus Ti VST vs. VST3 - any benefits?

  • Is there any advantage to using the vst3 version of the virus control?
Also, I remember the vst3 version was not recommended for use - why? has anything changed in the meantime?

    Thx

In cubase, there's a real time freeze with VST3 (it detects the output as real time) but freeze is buggy with VST3 anyway (not sure if this has improved in C6 though). Other than that there's nothing major as half the benefits are related to cpu usage which doesn't really apply too much to the VC.
