Check out this video from the 80s, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_Yx0X-eHn8 That chorus-like sound, which was made on a Fairlight, is ever-present on tracks recorded back then. It also appears through most of - and stands out during the solo at 2:58 in - Tears for Fears' "Shout" (see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54IN3URGuM8 ) I would like to emulate it 
on my TI Snow, but don't exactly know how. Does anyone have any ideas?

I fear this is almost impossible. It's a sample ("SARARR") , and sample playback ist the only thing the Virus can't.
If you have an iphone/pad/podtouch, you could download the fairlight app which is a 100% replica of the fairlight,
and use that sound in your setup. And you'll get the other signature fairlight sounds, as well
And if you have $20.000 too many on your bank account, you can buy the NEW hardware fairlight CMI-30A from Fairlight sysems
