Started working on this yesterday, right now it's just a few different 16 bar sections with different instrument patterns but I'm going to actually start working on the arrangement and all that jazz tomorrow.

Listening on the laptop again so can't tell much about the sound on itself.

The only thing I'll mention is that I'm not a big fan of the reverb on the bass at the beginning. It works fine in the mix, but standalone it sounds a bit strange IMHO.

I'd agree with this completely. It sounds like you've used a small room reverb to keep it tight but it just doesn't suit the sound. It might be worth bussing the reverb out onto an fx channel and using a much larger reverb, then use the bassline to duck the reverb channel itself so you get a nice fat tail after each bass phrase without it ever getting muddy.
Nice track though, definately a finisher!
