Using latest Virus Control in Logic 9.1.4 as a multi-instrument and USB 3 output is greyed out. How do I get to not be greyed out so that I can use it?

In this case the configuration of the Virus TI Control plugin is set incorrectly.
Open the plugin in Logic and click on the "PATCH/UTILITY" tab to the very right. On this page change the setting to3 OUTS / NO INPUT
to be able to use the 3rd USB audio stream within Logic. If you don't use the Virus TI as the audio interface for your setup, you can even change this to
3 OUTS / 1 INPUT
to send audio back from Logic into the TI for processing via the side-chain functionality.
