CAN I CONTROL A VIRUS SNOW WHIT A VRUS B? VIA REMOTE?

    Hello,
    The Virus b doesn't have a "REMOTE MODE", but it definitely can send out its knob movements as Midi controllers, given the corresponding Midi menu in the Virus b's CTRL menu is set correctly. Make sure the menu entry MIDI PANEL is set to either "midi" or "int+midi", otherwise this won't work.
    Once this is done you only need to make sure you send the data to the TI Snow, so if the TI Snow is connected to a computer, you also need to connect the Virus b's MIDI OUT with a Midi In port of your Midi interface and you also need to make sure your music software isn't filtering out Midi controller data.

    Hey! Thanks for this info! I'm considering purchasing a Snow as I already have a Virus "A"
    Can the above mentioned be done via the midi ports on the 2 Viruses when the ti is computer connected...instead of doing it via the midi interface?... also will all the Virus "A" controllers affect the same parameters on the snow?

    When the Virus is integrated with the computer (USB is connected), the MIDI in port of the Virus is owned by the computer and not the Virus. You will be able to see it from your DAW, and in order for it to control the Virus you will have to arm the Virus MIDI track you want to control. Again, make sure that your DAW is not set to filter MIDI CC-s.

    Yes, the TI line is backward compatible, all the knobs will control the same functionality on the Snow, but newer capabilities that were added later will not be controlled.
