2 more envelopes.. haaaah... now I'll be able to breathe...
-
wow awesome ,thank you access team you are the best.
-
I always wanted to see one additional, freely assignable envelope for use on things like pitch etc without having to worry about it also affected your filter or amplitude of the patch. Having 2 freely assignable envelopes is a real treat!
-
Yes, yes, yes!!!
I can hardly wait for it to arrive.
Thank you Access & thanks Chris for posting.
Man, I'd love a job like BCs
-
Wow, this looks pretty awesome.

What's the problem? Upload some videos of yourself pointing at a large screen and saying things like "filter envelope", "frequency shifter" and "formants".

Maybe one day I might just do that, if I do I'll make sure to give you a special mention at the end

This is just awesome! These updates are quite unbelievable -- if I compare the Virus I bought (back in the days of early OS 3) with the one I have now... wow! Thanks to everyone at Access! These free updates are by far the best and the most unique "feature" of your already great synth!
-
ACCESS make the new envelopes be able to loop like lfos!
-
Very nice.
-
With these updates, can you access them through the virus itself? Or do you need to use the vst? I can't seem to find the freq shifter on my virus.
-
When you select "others" in the bottom row of the effects section, you can select all the effects that are not accessible directly, using the menu on the LCD screen.
-
-
yes envelope loop points would be nice!

Ah cool, thanks for the info!

The combination of two more envelopes and the frequency shifter becoming a third filter is exciting! I've only sparingly used the comb/vowel filters that are there now due to lack of dedicated envelope (could just double the filter envelope, but then I wouldn't have it there.
But now? Filter envelope for F1, envelope 3 for filter 2 and envelope 4 for the filter in the effects section...my brain is overflowing with sound design possibilities!
The big question I have is what is the polyphony hit going to look like? I'll have to upgrade my hardware soon anyway (using the old TI now), but I'd like to be able to use these features as much as possible.

I would rather see a fix for the side chain in cubase :-s
But I must give access credit for the good work they did so far -
