Has anyone successfully registered a second hand Virus TI?

Hey all,
I recently purchased a Virus TI P0LAR from guitar center. I've been playing around with it a lot, and generally having a great time with it, and just recently tried to get the software for integrating it with my computer. Unfortunately for me, I found that I was unable to register for the ACCESS site, to download the software, because whoever owned the synth before me has already registered it. Since guitar center won't tell me how to get in touch with the person that sold it to them, I'm presently unable to fully experience the joys of using my new toy. This is very sad =[

Has anyone on here had experience with attempting to register a used TI?

Has it worked?

How'd you do it?

If not, were you able to get the software anyway?

I contacted support last night, and am still waiting to hear back. I post here with any developments.

I'm also going to talk to the store where I bought it, and see if they can put me in touch with the original owner.
