TIOS 3.3.0.00 Public Beta has been released

  • 64 bit support for windows! great!
    thank you so much!

    just one question:
is there a difference between the versions of the 32 bit and the 64 tios or is the difference only in the driver and the plugin.
just asking because I want to use the 64 bit version but sometimes I use the virus with my laptop and there's still a 32 bit windows running and I don't want to damage something.
    so will this cause problems?

  • The package comes with plugins in 32bit and 64bit flavour. to maintain compatibility with a 32bit Host you should use the 32bit plugins.
Theoretically the 32bit/64bit plugins are completely exchangeable, but we can't guarantee that hosts will always match them correctly.

The 32bit and 64bit Plugins do communicate the the 64bit driver in the same way.

  • Is it just me, I can't seem to find it on your site?

    opps, found it!

But only for Windows though! Where can I find the Mac version Marc?

    Cheers.

  • The mac version is a common package for 32 and 64 bit (fat universal binary), there is no need for a distinct 64bit installer.

  • Not a great start for me -

  • By clicking the 'Don't show again' box concerning the use of 3 out 1 in and not being able to use the TI as an audio interface box seems to sort the problem. It'll crash once, but when that dialouge box is not shown on next start up, it goes to syncing patches, which is what I'm doing now.

  • Well, well. 2 arp patches on VC channels 1 and 2 on separate USB outputs and another AU running an arp, locked tight, no glitch when the TI is not selected and not in record mode. By jove, I think you've done it! I may be on my way out to pickup a TI2. Nothing short of fantastic work. Try getting another company to turn fixes around that quickly. Hats off to you folks. :)

  • Credit where it's due -

    64 Bit at last

Just waiting for W7 ultimate to arrice courtesy of MS.

Can I ask is the TIOS the same for OSX64 and Win 64 bit,,,or does the virus need firmware update when switching - no biggy just curious to know :)

Great response to the fixes - well done access

  • EQ menu entrees are opposite from the knob layouts, kind of disconcerting. IE, the knobs are gain on the left, and Freq on the right. On the TI display it's opposite, with Freq on the left, and Gain on the right.

  • On Win 7 x64 RTM:
Unfortunately I immediately ran into issues which I cannot get passed.
    I installed the 3.3.0.00 64 bit driver.
The installer appeared to hang on "Scanning for Virus TI"
Cancelling the installation appears to replace the class complaint drivers with the proper ones.
However, In the Device manager, the TI Snow shows up as "Virus TI USB 2.8.32" with a Code 10 (Device cannot start)
