How do you set RANDOM that each note pans different directions when playing chords... this feature is available in most keyboards... For example when I play a chord, it randomizes the pan of each voice, or key! Thnx

You can set LFO 2 with S&G shape, in mono mode, to modulate Panorama position. Alternatively, try using Modulation Matrix with a Random source and the destination should be Panorama.

Somehow it feels more right to me to use S&H rather than S&G in this case.

Whats S&H??
Why in mono mode when I am playing chords???

S&G stands for "sample and glide" and S&H stands for sample and hold. This name comes from a type of module that is used in modular synthesizers, which can be fed by a continuous input and a trigger input. Whenever a trigger is sent, this module samples the continuous input, and sends the exact same value it sampled at that time through its output constantly, until the next trigger. A "sample and glide" module will do exactly the same except that movement between sampled values sent through the output is gradual and not instantaneous.
The S&G and S&H LFO-s of the Virus act as if they were fed by random noise and triggered at every LFO cycle. I think MarPabl meant that it should be in ENV mode, so that it is triggered once on "note on", and stays at the same random value, that controls the pan position.
Mono mode makes all the notes of the part act as if there is only one LFO for that part, which eliminates phase differences in modulation between notes. -

This. Using an LFO (either in S&H or S&G mode) will change panning of notes while they're playing.
The Random mod source gets a value at note-on and doesn't change while that note lasts, which seems to be what the OP is after. -

What I want is to have notes Paned in different position, like if I play a triad, one note might be left, another might be left and one note might be right or center, I wasnt after the notes changing as i hold them down... thats interesting too... I am still confused as to what to do to achieve this, its a lot of jargon.

oooow thanks!!!!!
post option 2 too!!! that is also a good idea
