I would like to see the next Virus be able to load/import a user's own sampled wave files in the wavetable oscillator, similar to the Nord Wave, and then be able to combine these with the other oscillator types and sent routed to the filters, lfos, ect.
Import Own Sampled Wave Files In The Wavetable Oscillator

That'll probably require a new osc type all together, I do believe that the Wavetables are based on algorithms and not samples..

+1 I've been hoping for this for a long time.

Now that legendary synth creator Wolfgang Palm has released the PPG Wavegenerator, this feature becomes even more desired (for me at least, but I'm sure for many others as well). Imagine the possibilities... design a wavetable in the PPG, export to Virus, and work magic using Virus OS 5 modulation parameters. +1

Cooool indeed. I guess though this will require a hardware modification, as it would require some type of wav and/or wave-table ram.

Might be better if Access just simply developed a hardware sampler as a whole new product?

+1 for load/import user wave samples
