I have a Virus TI keyboard and I know how to set it up with USB and all, using it as the soundcard etc.... I was wondering if I can use the keyboard on they synth as the MIDI controller without using the MIDI cables and just using USB.
Or do I have to use the MIDI cables? and how?
Yes you can use just the USB.

There's normally nothing you need to specifically set up especially if you have "all inputs" as Midi Input option selected for a track in Cubase you want to trigger with your Midi master keyboard. If the Virus software suite is installed, then also the necessary drivers are installed to do this.
So what happens right now if you open Cubase, create an instrument track and if you load any synth plugin you find? Can you play it on the Virus keyboard if you create a project like that?

Just make sure the Virus is turned on and connected before you load up Cubase.
