Virus TI POP/DANCE soundset

  • Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for a soundset that is great for pop and Dance á la Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry. Don't like the wet trance sounds. Does someone of you have any tips? Is Vengeance the best way to go?

Off topic/tips: I have tried really hard to make the Virus TI integrated in my workflow and I think I got it. So for other people who is wondering. It feels like it will always be some latency when you are using the VC and instant changing when you use regular midi cables/analog out. I like the TI/VC so i will keep using it, mostly because of the categories like bass, arps, pads (I hate it when they are all spred out). When the arp or some sound goes out of sync, just hit stop, wait for 5-10 sec and the play. Now the sync is back on track.

    Best regards,
    Fredrik

  • These are the "industry-standard" sets for Pop/Dance/Electro/House.

    1) "7Skies". Highly recommended. Best all-around soundset available. Has all the tranceleads, saws, FX, plucks, pads, very high-quality.

    2) "CFA V-Bass". This is THE set for those rich, thick, ultra-phat, awesome Electro/House-basses! Just listen to the demo! Pretty expensive, but well worth the money. You're set with all the amazing Electro basslines here. David Guetta, LMFAO, Rihanna, Deadmau5, etc.

Also, you might want to consider:

    3) "CFA Thrillogy Vol. 1". Very nice thick EuroLeads/Trance-saws, if you're doing Trance/Hardstyle/Pop-Trance this is a must for those Euro hypersaws.

Last but not least, there's a nice *free* soundset that just came out, available to all Virus users, called DejaVu Electronics that you can download for free:

This one has some nice Dubstep wobbles, electro basses, and lots of commercial plucks and Afrojack/Dutch sounds.
