Patch names 1 to 49 of bank RAM-A are corrupted.

  • Virus TI Keyboard
Patch names 0 to 49 of bank RAM-A are corrupted.
Happened during a firmware upgrade about three years ago when the machine was new.
Upgrading the firmware does not help. Current firmware is 4.5.3.0.
The machine is working fine but the names are bad. Names are reflected in the Virus Control.

Probably caused by a bad USB cable that was bundled with the machine.
The computers's USB ports are fine, I've checked. I'm using a different USB cable now,

How do I restore back the names to original so that they stay even after complete power off?
    Please help.

  • Without using any USB connection, but just use the Store button. You have a chance to rename the Programs and check if the names are corrected

Access Virus TI2 Polar Darkstar, Korg Kronos 88, Roland MB-8800

  • If your Virus is older you probably need a new backup battery. Ram is battery bufferd during unpowered periods and some time it wears out.
I'm not sure how to change the battery - so ask a technician or access support.
