new dance track mostly using access virus ti http://soundcloud.com/xavierj/disko-insomnia

  • This piece has good potential but i can hear through my mobile headphone this isn't a very balanced mix.

This they call hypercompression that is realy messing up your sound.
Please try to lower your amount of (limiting/compressing) on the main.

Make sure your main volume in all cases is higher than the individual volumemeters.

To turn up your sound only put a limiter or compressor over your main.

If you have done this you have to try again but more subtile.

How important is this? I usealy use the master fader to turn down the full mix which ends up much lower than individual faders. To go through turning down each fader would be like a complete new mixdown. Reseting all the levels against each other all over again.

Think I just miss understud what you said. as you said meter not fader.
