I am currently trying to set up a remote template on my ti2 for my mQ. I am running into the problem, that the control knobs always transmit midi values from 0 to 127. for some parameters such as osc shape this is very impracticable. osc shape for example runs from 0 to 5 on the mQ. is there a way to scale the transmitted midi value from 0 (knob turned all the way left/down) to 5 (knob turned all the way right/up)? e. g. B0 1F (*/25) or B0 1F (1..5)
Restricting the value / defining the scale of midi values sent for a knob in remote template

bump. anyone?

I don't think that is possible although it could be very useful. IIRC there was a feature request thread about this. If you are routing your MIDI through a DAW and not directly through a MIDI cable, you can look for MIDI filtering VST-s that can let you perform mathematical calculations on your CC values (e.g. to get from 0..127 to 0..5 you divide by 25).

thx, flabberbob. do you by any chance know a good reference for programming sysex/midi commands?
