No need to add square - the right kind of distortion will give you that nasal squary character on its own. You can help the distortion give the right character by setting filter routing to parallel, keeping one filter fully open and the other filter as bandpass, helping to emphasize one frequency band.
fast LFO - try to also set it as S&G, with oscillator 2 on classic, you also have the choice of FM by noise source.
And of course you didn't mention that the overall pitch is controlled by an envelope, for attack-rise and the release-fall.

I would suggest taking a look in the Videos section on this site. I've been very slowly learning about subtractive synthesis for about a year now, and last weekend I went through a good number of Ben's tutorial videos on OS3 and OS4 features. That alone has at least doubled my knowledge level of the Virus (and I understood everything flabberbob said above / know where to set those parameters just from watching the vids).
I thought I'd have time for it this weekend but no such luck... I'll contact you when I know I have time to work on it. In the meantime I listened to your sample - sounds like hypersaw - did you apply the pitch modulations? which ones?

No problem mate. Both OSC are on classic pulsewidth. OSC1+2 pitch is modulated with the filter envelope.
