Is there a way to install 5.04 beta, but without it replacing 5.03?
I dont really need 5.04, as I dont currently use my TI with ableton, and since its a beta, id prefer not to install until its an official release.
However, the changelog says the reference manual has been updated, which I would like to take a look at.
thetechnobear: you can download the installer, browse it using a modern unzipper (e.g. 7zip can browse a Windows MSI installer), and extract the PDF files from there (they might have a little different name such as PDF_ManualName with no extension). Or, just wait for the new manual to be updated in the support/manuals section of the site (Marc?).

where does this info comes from?

From the notes for the beta, on the download page.
There's already over 3 months since last beta and no official release.

let me clarify what the note means and why there is not "release". we've decided to address small issues quickly by releasing more updates. that's why there is this beta version. it will stay a public beta for now and it is save to install it, otherwise there would be a newer version. of course it feels better to install a release build but does it make sense to take this version, change it into a release build (with a new build number of course) and make thousands of people install what they already have installed?
