Why does the "Value 1" dial (right beside "Volume") always show "<global>"? How can I assign a value, e.g. "Tone", "Pitch" etc. to it?

I am new to this forum and Virus Snow TI. I have reset the Virus Snow to Factory settings. The "Value 1" knob now always shows "<global>", instead of "Tone" or "Pitch" or any other actual parameters. I remember seeing different parameters for different sounds/patches in the "Value 1" settings, but now it only shows "<global>". How can I fix this? Please help!

If anyone else ever has the same issue, here's the solution:
I had to change the "Config" > "Edit Config" > " Mode" > "Single" (instead of "Global")
