When i'm using my Virus TI via USB I cannot hear anything at all from the headphone out. Is that normal? Seems a bit odd to me.
EDIT - IF YOU PRESS THE 'D' (direct monitoring button) The headphones work! Hurray! - Maybe they should mention that in the manual!
this is normal. it is because the virus turns switches into "sound card" mode when you plug-in USB.

Just realised that you can activate the headphones by pressing the 'D' button ! Grrrrr..... why not mention that in the manual!?
The headphones output is basically a copy of the signal coming from the OUT 1 L+R of the Virus. Enabling the "D" button in the Virus TI plugin activates the "direct monitoring" feature which routes the signal to the analog out OUT 1 L+R, hence it also shows up in the headphones out.
