Virus Multi Mode Plays Init Patch over other sounds

    I put together a handful of patches in a multi. Originally it was playing only one sound at a time. Then the next time i messed with it the sounds all played at the same time but so did the Initialized patch sound. I assumed my other parts in the multi were still Init so I went and turned all the empty parts patch volume all the way off. This helped as it got quieter but it will not go away. There remains a buzz saw wave over the top of everything. It stutters, distorts, and fades out seemingly in accordance to velocity. Sometimes it will even sustain forever after I play notes until I hit more notes or switch patches.


    This obviously renders the multi useless.

    Is it one multi patch or all of them?


    if its all of them, include factory once - Are you playing from Virus keyboard?
    if so check that you have set to play on one channel, not multi.


    the other obvious thing to check, is what midi channel each part is playing on.
    also you can try disabling each part (in the multi menu)
    (remember to check ALL 16 parts, you only need one of them to be 'active' so hear it)
