How can I mute the current chosen channel on the TI2 hardware synth?

Using the Ti2 in connection with the virus control plug in.
There I can mute a single channel but have to use the mouse. Was trying to program a control adjustment within logic pro but the daw dorsn't recognize the hidden mute button, so I try to
do this via the hardware.
Is the a direct way to do this ?

By the way - I just testet it with the Ultrobeat Logic Plugin an there I can assign an knob (using the BeatStepPro by Arturia an a controller) for mute/unmute. But the virus control plugin doesn't send an order.
Is this expected?
