Virus consistently displays sync error message and won't play.

    Hi,


    My Ti2 desktop has been playing up for a long while but has recently developed a new trick. 90% of the time when I open up the Virus in my DAW and press play it instantly displays the red sync error message and it never stops. Once in a blue moon it will open and work fine but most of the time it is completely unusable. I thought it may be my macbook's USB port for a while, until I recently acquired a virus ti2 polar, which works perfectly.


    I'd love to know if there is something I can try to fix the situation.

    Running OSX El Capitan
    Logic x 10.2.2
    Virus Software 5.1.3.0

    I'll try using the Ti as the interface tomorrow and see if that changes anything but I've had it around 4 years now and it always worked when using an audio interface before.


    I'm not using SPDIF either.


    Its so strange, it has literally just started doing this a few weeks back completely out of the blue.
