Good morning Access
Please could you tell me when you will be updating the VirusB next? The last one was in 2003, so I think it is due for an upgrade, don't you?
kind regards

the update to the Virus B was released in roughly 2005 and called Virus C.
I'm not sure why but that reply made my day.
Haha, reply of the year
Love it

So where can I download this Virus C?
So where can I download this Virus C?
try ebay or reverb.com - mind it is a heavy download, over 5000g ... but worth every ounce.
OMG, i don't want to be an arse....
BUT THIS IS REALLY THE TOPIC OF THE YEAR

Thanks you Marc, I did look on Reverb, but only found the Access Virus C Rack. Will this be OK to donwload to my VirusB to upgrade it to the C?
Just a note: It is a bit pricy for the upgrade ($697.02), does anyone have a used copy of this? I have got ADSL 4mb line, so I do not mind download 5000g if that is what it takes to get to the C.
hello cyber7,
you can not upgrade your "Virus B" into a "Virus C" oder newer Model
the latest update for your "Virus B" is: Virus B Series OS 4.90 Build 050
(you can get it from the Support/Download Area under Discounted Products - Category Operating Systems)
edit: thx tonstudio for the info
Not 100% right - Just to make sure new users do not get confused: "older version" means other than current, so the current version can be found under OS: "Virus B Series OS 4.90".
Sorry for the late reply, but I think I can do this upgrade thing now.
I have installed a fiber link at home, so do not have anymore download restrictions. Can I just upgrade directly to the Virus tie2? Or do I have to go through all the oberating systems from b to c to ingigo to tie then to tie-one then only to tie-two? It will take a while if I have to download all the files (It looks from previous posts lik it could be like 5000mbytes per download!)

Cyber7,
if you haven't figured out by now...Virus C is a hardware revision. It was also discontinued. The newest virus came out 10 years ago called the TI2, and it is the only series still being manufactured. They are quite nice, but it will cost you between 2 and 3 thousand USD for one of these depending on the model you choose. Other past revisions are available second hand. You cannot upgrade the software on your device past the version stated above.
Sorry to ruin the fun everyone, but if this guy is still trying to figure it out at this point he deserves the straight answer lol
