how to save I am doing what the manual says???

    hi all i have made a killer sound and want to save it. The problem is that if i am using Live 8 i can save sounds in Virus Control, but I cant seem to get the external Edirol keyboard to trigger when the TI is USB into the MacBook Pro, just trigger the sounds via sequencer.


    If I unplug the USB I can again play the Edirol.


    What I want to do is work out how to overcome that problem, but more importantly I want to know how to STORE via the TI desktop.


    Reading the manual I press store choose the bank and patch number then press store and rename the patch but then I press store again and it doesnt say its stored at all, the only option then is to exit and loose the patch?


    Am I missing something? I do notice " memory protect" comes up but it also show that in the manual example.


    I am lost HELP PLEASE

    By the sound of it you have memory protect turned on.


    Press CONFIG scroll through with the Parameters buttons till you get to System 4/6 then make sure Memory Protect is disabled.
