I haven't heard anything, though I'd like to, but I also don't see much room for improvement. Maybe a Snow 2? So I almost resurrected last year's NAMM thread, but decided I'd start a new one in case there are any kind of comments or updates...

And some dealers have removed certain Virus models from thier catalog, or indicate them as unavailable.

I think what janke meant was that although there are no new Virus products, the people attending those fairs may be new to the synth world and have not heard a Virus in person.

Ok, fair enough, but it's pretty expensive to have a booth at NAMM, so you wouldn't go unless you had a great new product and wanted to kickstart the market....IMO....

It's a general fact that, in all fields (not only music instruments), trade shows are also loosing a big part of their importance. It's no longer the only way to present your material, old or new to different kind of publics. There will always be a place for one major trade 'rendezvous', but for the moment they're all struggling to reinvent themselves...

we haven't done NAMM or Frankfurt in 8 yearsThe virus hasn't really changed much in 8 years...Access has done little more than keep the lights on when it comes to having anything to really show. It would be pointless for them.
The Virus is a mature product that's not seeing anything more than bug fixes. Why bother showing it just to show it?
