[SOLVED] Big problems getting Virus to accept MIDI data

i just bought an Edirol PCR-500 MIDI controller and I've powered it via USB, taking the MIDI out into the MIDI in on the Virus. But nothing happens. I can demo sounds with the 'Audition' function but the keyboard is doing nothing. Both devices (I think) are set to MIDI channel 1. Is there a problem with powering the keyboard via USB and asking it to control via MIDI?

Fixed it, weird submenu default settings on the pcr make it awkward!
