virus snow won't install

hi,

i have purchased a second hand virus snow

i am using windows xp sp 2

i follow the installation procedure as laid out by the installer / manual

i turn it on and it appears the os currently on there is 2.7.3.0

it starts going and it appears the usb on it turns on and off several times

it gets to the point of creating shortcuts and registering the product and then rolls back this access

then an error pops up saying the software suite setup has ended prematurely because of an error and that my system has not been changed

as it doesn't tell me what the error is there is little i can do about this, please help me!

also it appears i can't view any posts on this forum????

when i log out i can view all the forums normally, weird??

since doing this i have noticed i am not the only one, which is a breath of fresh air, looks like it's focused around the 32bit windows version???

does anyone have a link to a previous installer so i can start playing around with my new toy?
