It would be very nice to have some haptic based modulation sources/destination assignment similar to how it is implemented on Prophet synths which on the Virus might be something like:
- Hitting a "source assign" button
- Moving the mod wheel or pressing an after touch key to assign the source modulation or clicking one of the LFO buttons
- Moving the modulation destination to assign it
Could be gracefully implemented via key combo such as shift + some other button.

Haptic simply means touch related. Please explain how your suggestion is any different basically, than just pressing the Mod Matrix select and destination buttons and then assigning the source and destinations with the soft knobs, as normal. I don't think I quite understand your idea!
