Hello Virus Team,
Will there be a new software update for the newly MacBook's that have the M1 chips and compatible with Big Sur?
I'm afraid that I think we all have to assume that the answer is - no. We're now over a year with no support for the previous MacOS version.
you would think there would be one last update to make it a class compliant device. Right now on the M! chip I can't even use it as a midi controller over USB. THATS CRAZY!
That's a very sad situation for customers.
I wonder if Access employees are actually reading the forums. They are literally ignoring us, remaining silent about this whole issue, while still selling the synth like there is no problem.
No.
Actually more like:
Yes. No. Yes. Yes. Yes.
The situation is hilariously unbearable.
So even the midi is not supported by the VST on M1 ?

MIDI is supported. You can even automate all the different CC channels. Works perfectly.
Hello everyone! Guys, how do you like this alternative?

Yes. It doesn't have the most important part Virus Control has: audio routing via USB so it's useless from my point of view/

This is my go-to Virus editor for over a year now. Works perfectly.

Oh really! So what's the difference between this plugin and the original Virus TI plugin? No USB audio?
For me this plugin is useless at this point. I'm waiting for fixing bug which causes freezing DAWs (Cubase, Logic Pro, Ableton) - I don't know if it's my computer but they say they know about this and will do something about it. Nevermind it was in April...
Every time more people is renewing their macs and now Im very disappointed that there's no support
Please guys you need to do something soon
On an M1 14" mbp. my good ole virus Ti is one of the very first ever sold in US. deeply integrated into my set up and so very necessary. No support anymore for current technology? this is bananas. Cmon guys!@#? This is the new normal. Please respond and let us know what to expect!
If I was in your shoes I'd just get the Mystery Islands plugin and call it a day. Especially with audio over USB it seems to be the best option for Mac users at this point: https://docs.mysteryislands-mu…b-audio-with-every-macos/
Yes it's just embarrassing for such a respected company to act dead silence on this matter while more and more people are upgrading their systems, which soon will be the new standard, also for Windows heading towards ARM.

Mad that a third party company can get it to work but the manufacturer can't (or won't)!

It has all the features of the TI plugin.
I haven’t gotten USB audio to work, but up until now using midi and + (balanced) audio cables works absolutely perfect within Logic. No more latency problems either. using midi, Logic Pro hits the notes very tightly.
and what about arpeggiator? is everything work properly? I can't get it to work in sync, the notes don't hit in time, I always hear some delay...
