Virus c OS 6.5

    Hi infectious friends!


    I try to get the latest Virus c OS on the machine.


    MidiOX and bome SX and three different midi- Interfaces

    Nothing.

    The Virus never even showed one bit of arriving

    data.

    HiPage and LiPage set to SysEx.


    Who has the secret knowledge?

    Have you tried setting the MIDI device ID to the same number on both the Virus & the sequencer? Or set both to 'Omni'

    I found receiving a MIDI dump did cack all when they were set to different numbers from each other

    Although it did say 'receiving sysex' but then else happened. & it was on a TI not a C.

    Worth a try though eh?

    The only other thing I can think of is by default Page A = controller data, Page b = sysex

    Perhaps having both set to sysex is cancelling each other out...?


    I take it you checked the midi cable & midi in port of your Virus both work?

    Is it receiving normal midi data (like notes & CCs etc...)?

    Finally a genius friend Made the update happen with an old PC.

    Now I'm searching for the "input-settings" that somehow don't appear at all in the menu.


    Do I have to create an extra Input -single-part somehow?
