Classic Chorus/Phaser/Flanger/Doubler effects

  • OK, so the one thing i think the virus could benefit from is, since they are adding all these distortion models, a choice of varying the chorus and phaser control.

I consider the MXR 126 Flanger/Doubler to be one of the best 'soundgoodizer' effects out there - making some of the thinnest sounds warm and gooey.

This and other similar effects, i believe, would go very nicely with the wonderful set of distortion models they have, too.

OK a comb filter can do a wide range of effects including things similar to the above mentioned.

Or maybe not, maybe just a negative feedback on the delay effect (pwease? :) ) would do nicely - never underestimate the power of inverting feedback!

Any thoughts, anyone? Any favourite effects that you'd like the virus to reminisce?

  • I'd really some Uni-Vibe and Leslie speaker effects. Mmm...esp that Uni-Vibe.

Of anything I really don't care for on the TI it's the Chorus section. A nice Roland or EH analog style chorus would be awesome.
