Hi,
I recently got the Virus TI Snow and I've been using it only via USB to my laptop while traveling. I am returning home soon and plan on setting up my first studio setup. I am quite new to this so I am asking for advice on setting everything up.
All the gear I'd wish to connect are:
- Virus TI Snow
- Behringer TD-3
- Novation Launchkey 37
- Scarlett 4i4 sound card
- Laptop
- Monitors
And the way I thought of this is the following (this is where I'd need confirmation if it's correct):
VIRUS
- USB to laptop (3 outputs)
- 2x TS cables, Virus out to sound card in (for 4th audio output)
- Midi in on Virus to Midi out on Launchkey (for 4th midi output)
TD-3
- USB to laptop
- TS cable to sound card
LAUNCHKEY
- USB to laptop
- Midi in on Virus to Midi out on Launchkey
4i4
- USB to laptop
- Outputs to monitors
