Total Integration VST preset sync

Do patch searches using the Total Integration software VST change the order in which the original ROM factory presets are stored in the Virus TI hardware unit since it syncs to the hardware? I want to use Total Integration VST to simply search for factory presets without rearranging the order of the factory stored presets.

When searching presets do the "found results are presented in a different order" change the order of the presets in the hardware as well or just the order in the VST software?
