Hi all, my Virus TI2 desktop will be coming soon and I want to make sure I set everything up correctly and not run into hardware or software issues.
I mainly produce music in the box, but would love to use the virus desktop to do simple sound design and just playing the keys.
I have a keyboard midi controller, audio interface and PC.
What are the right steps to set everything up to make sure software and hardware will run smooth.
Mainly the software side as hardware should be more simple.

Which DAW and OS do you use?

You either need to run an older version of Mac OS X before Catalina or WIndows 10 PC or get the Mystery Islands Aura software to get Virus to work with DAW software.

Reason 12 as main DAW and running Windows 10 (always up to date).

Im on Windows 10, so plug in virus and buy mystery islands aura software is the way to go?

Since you're on Windows, the original TI VST works fine but the Mystery Islands plugin is a usable alternative if you prefer that.

Try the Virus TI plugin on Windows if you like it before buy the Aura software. I prefer the Aura software but the TI has cool features when it works.
