Hey All, Ive read through all the threads regarding the crackling sound on the Virus TI and I must say I didnt learn anything 
Did I miss the solution here? I experience the crackle when using above 6 channels and with automation. I know others have experienced it with much less. Any help?

thanx Ionis, but the issue had to do with overdub and not record enabling the track. Maybe this was obvious to other people but it was driving me nuts

To overcome this issue I just expand my automation lanes and only tweak the part that I want to record.
thanx for your reply, but how are you recording the "tweaks" without recording over the midi data on the other channels?

Hey guys, so Ive read through the previous threads about automation in Ableton Live. Ive gotten down the basics, however there are some lingering questions.
When you've got the TI on the one track (in Ableton Live that is), and then multiple midi tracks corresponding to the various channels on the TI, What is the best way to record automation on say channel 4 of the virus without recording over automation you've already done on the other channels. (If you enable record in the transport at the top it will record over everything within the track that is record enabled.) Drawing in automation by hand is not only tedious but you lose the live feel that you can get from twisting a knob.
Also, if we must have ALL automation lanes for all the TI channels in one track. Is there a way to at least rename the automation lane to display the name of the patch?

Hi Guys Im trying to use analogue outputs 1 and 2 at the same time ( stereo outputs 1 to PA, while stereo outputs 2 to Ableton for live sampling/looping). But I dont get any signal out of output 2, Is there somewhere in the Virus to turn this on? Im using the TI Polar. Thanx for any advice you can give
