Thanks for the replies everyone. Turned out I didn't need to sell my virus in the end (thank goodness! I love that beast!)

Hi everyone,
If I sell my Virus TI2, what do I need to do to transfer the serial number to the new user?
Thanks - Pete

These will teach you about synthesis and the Virus TI.

And as mentioned, the Virus Bootcamp videos are great, as are the SOS Synth Secrets articles. I read those over a 6 month period some years ago now.

I would like to see a bank of current modern sounds, like those used in modern Electro & Hardstyle.
Sounds like those used by artists such as Showtek, Noisecontrollers, Code Black, Wildstylez, Zedd, Wolfgang Gartner, Hardwell, Nicky Romero.

It focuses on the TI, and is all done with the plugin, so almost all is applicable to the Snow as well

Buy this tutorial:

i kind of doubt that. anybody else having this problem?

I had this issue, and that's how I resolved it.The VST3 version wasn't responding to velocity or pitchbend data in Studio One v2. I changed to the VST2 version and it responded as expected. Exact same patch, exact same midi clip on the exact same instrument track.

I had this issue as well.
As it turns out, in Studio One, The VST3 version of the Virus Plugin DOES NOT read pitchbend, velocity etc.
You have to use the VST2 version of the plugin

The crackeling disapears when I have the buffer set to 128 or lower. Above that there is crackeling.
I useually work at a 512 buffer size so this is a problem for me.

Thanks for the replys Guys.
So is this not true self oscillation?
On the Slim Phatty for example, it doesn't matter what volume I have the oscillators, or how much saturation is applied to the filter, the filter still self oscillates when I turn the resonance up full. (Even at the highest cuttof point, you can see it on an FFT.)
Thanks!

Install went fine on Windows 7 x64, Virus TI2 Desktop.
Have noticed some crackeling.

In OS5 you still can't push the filter into self oscillation in Analog Mode (and normal mode, but I don't think you're suposed to be able to normal mode).
This was also the case in OS4, OS4.5.
Cheers

I've been on Windows 7 x64 for quite a while now.

seems totally fine here. please send in a patch or be more specific. we've checked the hypersaw oscillator and we were not able to replicate your findings.
marcFine for me too
