Such a pain. Virus V5 with Cubase 8 = crap. Too bad because the hardware is great and the sounds are amazing.... Back to old school midi control, pity for so much money.
Unfortunately there must be something wrong with the company

Yup, tried every USB port, resetting, everything.
I'll go buy a PCI usb card, maybe that helps.
Tried disconnetcing everything, still no luck
I even got a BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death)
Thanks very much for the advice heckmat, anyway...
Oh yes, and I tried 4.1.0.16; it won't install either.
Hi, I'm trying to install "Virus TI Software Installer 64-bit" version 4.0.5.01 under Win7 64bit. I get to the popup window which says "Please connect all Virus TIs and switch them on now...". I do that, and afterwards the installation rolls back and exits prematurely WITHOUT ANY ERROR MESSAGE. So I don't have any idea where to start...
I tried resetting the Virus, changing USB cables, restarting the computer, no luck.
It very much looks like an installer issue... please help!!!
Virus TI2
Win7 Ultimate 64bit (genuine, with all updates)
Motherb: ASUS P6TWS

I'm having exactly the same problem, will downgrade to Vista 32 bit and see what happens.
