i dont understand, why dont you just install cubase 5 64bit and the 64bit Virus Control..... thats exactly what im doing and its working flawlessly..
-
hmm....well it would be nice if all parameters could be modulated with the LFO's.....but all parameters can be automated by your sequencer right?
-
yeah this isnt a problem with your virus....i dont know a lot about electricity so i cant help you... but ive had noises coming into my speakers and ive fiddled with plugs and stuff and it has sorted it out.
-
and another thing!..... how do i assign ANY parameter to the lfo's? i wanted to modulate something earlier but i couldnt find a way to do it...are these just simple limitations of the virus or have i not found some special trick to add more modulation destinations?..
i remember what it was now, it was the vowel control of the vowel filter in the fx section.

and if you stick in a pair of headphones?
-
Roby31 the list of destinations is limited unless im missing something.
i want to be able to assign absolutely anything. SOS's suggestion is working great tho. -
thanks! i was worried no one else is getting this problem and i would never know to solve it....but yes they must look into this and get it fixed with new OS
-
Thanks SOS, i was worried it wasnt possible at all, but shouldnt there be a way to assign something to a soft knob without having to go through the matrix?....
-
i dont know omnisphere but i know that the virus ti seems it could use a mod envelope with many points to edit.....not just a simple adsr ... i know there you can use lfo's for envelopes as well, but they are rather limiting...

If its possible, how do i assign any parameter to one of the soft knobs?...
I have been trying all day to work it out......i right click on some knobs and say add to automation or something...then when i right click on soft knobs on the easy page i can see the parameter that i just added but when i select it.....nothing happens?....i dont understand what im doing wrong..
maybe this is the wrong place to post, if it is...sorry...

Hi, im loving my new virus TI after years of oggling at pictures on internet i finnaly have one!...couldnt be happier....but
last night i noticed strange things happening, i made a kickdrum using a sine and pitch modulation with lfo 1 on envelope mode, i made a nice kick and it sounded great....then i added a bass playing on part 2. i immediately noticed that the kick now sounded realy funny when played back with the bass, when i muted the bass MIDI track the kick played back fine, if i routed both the kick and bass to seperate usb outputs and then muted the audio of the bass track the kick still played back strange, i cant realy explain how it sounds, but its as though it gets a funny sharp mettalic noise for a transient instead of just being smooth and also seems to sound different everynow and then, even though osc has a set start phase...
is this normal? whats happening? i would imagine that the first part loses its precision with the lfo' and the start phase of the oscillator when i add more load on the dsp by sending midi data to part 2.....could this be it?....anyone got some ideas?
thanks.

what exactly is the problem?
