I want to buy a Ti Desktop and will using the Atomizer to mangle different Midi Parts in my Track ( drums and Pads for example).I am working with Live 8 and Cubase 5. In a previous Forum Thread i ve found this:
i guess i'm starting to repeat myself but: cubase supports side chaining with insert style plug-ins ("effects") but it does not with instruments. only steinberg can change this. virus control is already supporting it as you can see in e.g. reaper or ableton live.

This means,that i can`t use Sidechain for Effects and Atomizing Functions still in Cubase 5 ? Right ?
So i must use Ableton Live 8 or switch from Cubase to Logic ?
Joerg Huettner from Access gave me a Logic 8 File for example, he said that in Ableton and Logic, all will work fine definetly !
I love Cubase and its a hard thing to switch the DAW for only one Synth ! ( but i love the Virus Sound and its infinite possibillities ).
Well, its a difficult decision ! Any ideas for me ? Please Help !
(I also have Logic 8, but I have not yet incorporated with it )
