an LFO rate for approximately 120 or higher will not result in a perfectly stable rate.
Why not?

It's not in split mode, definitely not as I checked all configurations.
Thanks for your answer on my second question.
So creating a long sloping filter modulation with the lfo from a fixed starting point is not possible while running the arpeggiator.
That kind of sucks as only way to do it is with automation then.
Something strange I noticed.
Whenever I select End mode in either Lfo 1 or 2 and let it modulate the filter it also modulates the pan.
The higher the modulation value, the more the sound swings from left to right.
Now when I deselect the Env mode, the panning issue is gone.
I'm using the latest OS and the filter balance is 100 % to the left.
Anyone else experiencing this and/or is this normal for the Ti to behave like this?
Something else:
How do I on an arpeggiated sound setup the Lfo to modulate the filter or whatever from a fixed starting point without the lfo being retriggered by the arpeggiator?
a release version of OS5 is planned for the next days. marc
7 days further and counting......
And if there's indeed a new Virus coming, please let us know in advance, because that will give me some time to sell my current one before 2nd hand prices drop too much
Alright, fixed it already:-)
I just placed another installation into a different directory and everything seems fine now:-)
So apparently my Antivirus deleted the VirusUpdater.dll file.
When I opened Cubase, a window popped up telling me to reinstall the Virus control software.
But when I run the installer to remove the program, it's telling me it can't continue because that VirusUpdater.dll file is missing.
What to do now?
I even tried a system restore but that didn't do the trick either.
Will we be seeing any improvement upon the sluggish gui issue?
I think it's been addressed in one of the earlier updates, but honestly it still sucks, big time.
It's much more present when I'm approaching my cpu limits within Cubase, but that shouldn't be an excuse because all other plugin don't behave this way.
It's so bad that sometimes I don't even want to bother dialing any parameters within Viruscontrol, leaving me fiddling around in my project without making any progress.
Jesus some people have no patience at all, aren't you pre occupied enough playing around with what's already a brilliant instrument?!
The problem is, once you announce something, I'm distracted and I can't fully function until it's been released
It definitely is annoying, a few weeks until release is doable, but months and months and months isn't very fun anymore.
But are the filters actually different from the ones in the filter section?
Or are they the same as the regular lp/bp/hp filters?
Is that for real?
I mean my music is usually around 135 bpm, is that 'too slow' then?
Why doesn't the delay run at 1/2 clock speed, but 1/4 th instead?
It's been like this since a few updates ago, and I still haven't figured out how to get it at 1/2.
What's the deal with this?
This really sucks.
After the syncing got screwed up soo much, I reverted back to the previous version, and the syncing problem was still there.
Even after another clean uninstall and install again, the problem hasn't gone away.
So back to version 4.5.1 again and no difference, just one bic syncing miss-match !
This latest beta OS caused sync problems for me when testing in Cubase 5.5.3 (32bit) and also Cubase 6.03 (64bit) on my Virus TI Snow. When exporting midi to audio in Cubase, the imported audio would always be about 30ms late. I tried using different ASIO drivers, operating systems (Win XP and Win 7 64bit), DAWS, etc and the ONLY thing that solved it was reverting back to the last non beta OS (4.1.1.05). I'm pretty sure the problem didn't exist in the previous beta update, but I'm not wild about installing betas after this experience.
Thx.
Yep, same here.
Haven't had much of any sync issues for the past year, but this is worse than any version ever before.
Would anyone know if it's possible to use the Access Virus A to edit the Virus Snow?
Thanks in advance.
could you guys start one of those facebook polls so we can find out how many people are happy with the beta update and on what platform? Just wondering whether to update or wait till public release. cheers
Installing the update and if needed reverting back is a lot less time consuming I think than waiting for poll stats.
Chorus LED doesn't show when other Chorus types are in use...
That seems about the only error.
Apart from that I'm am really happy with this release as Cubase 5 doesn't crash anymore, after months of aggravation
I'm expecting this update within 48 hours from now.
Hope finally everything will work smooth this time.
No news?
Guess more problems have popped up then.
