You didn't do a very good job on making the holes for it's audio/midi outs on the back of the device.

Never mind, problem solved already.
I must have accidentaly changed the global midi channel on my masterkeyboard
Sorry for wasting your time -
All of a sudden this happened yesterday.
I don't remember the exact moment, but somehow my Snow isn't receiving any midi data when I press the keys on my keyboard.
Unless it's just not playing back the sound, but I've checked everything, and all patch volumes are fine.
It does however work totally normal in Cubase and I have no problems with midi or whatsoever.
What's also strange is, that altough it doesn't seem to receive any midi (or just doesn't play back the sound), it does send it thru to my Nord, which is connected to my Snow.I have updated it to the latest 4.2.01-something OS, but that didn't solve my problems either.
Anyone got a clue of what I could be doing wrong?

That ain't no 'doppler' sounds with just a simple pitch modulation:-)
-
Anyone know how to build some decent doppler sounds on the Virus TI?

I was really hoping for a fix to the slow gui issue on Windows 7.
When can we expect that fix? -
Have you tried using an lfo set to a ramp up shape controlling oscillator or patch volume?
To make an lfo ramp up you set it to triangle with the contour fully positive ie all the way to the right.
In the mod matrix set this lfo to modulate either patch volume or oscillator volume. Make sure the oscillator volume in the VC osc tab is set to 0 that way with positive modulation in the matrix it will basically make the sound go from 0 to full causing this pumping effect your on about. have the lfo set to 1/4 for the classic kick ducking effect.
Worth a shot
Also make sure the lfo trig phase is set to 1 and in sync, change the oscilator volume in the osc tab to change the amount of pumping that you want+1
Easiest way of achieving this.

But when I try to use the Arp Input to Patch Volume or Amp Sustain, to have kind of a gating effect, it does'N t work.
You can hear an effect, but the Arp Steps are not "sharp" enough for "gating".Same here, could have been soo much better.

Found another bug:
Clockspeed 1/2 of the Classic delay, actually delays at a speed of 1/4th.
Can anyone confirm?

Thanks for the update.
But here on Windows 7, the gui of Virus Control is still very slow:-(
I thought that was going to be fixed.........? -

I still have don't have any activity in my stereo in channels in Cubase.
I've tried to make an external instrument for the Nord and such, but still nothing. -
Anyone else ?
-
I actually forgot to activate the audio ins within Cubase, but now I've done it, I still don't get any signal coming into the mixer.

I need some expert help again
I just got a Nord Rack 2.
It's connected to my Snow which is also my soundinterface.
Midiwise everything works fine in Cubase, but I don't know how to capture it's audio output.
As what my Snow does is only allowing the audio signal to pass thru to my monitors, but nothing goes into Cubase.
So how do I setup everything up in order to record my Nord? -
Anyone?

But what is the reason that there's no standalone version of Virus Control?
I mean, all NI stuff and many more, all have standalone versions. -
Whenever I choose LFO 1 or 2 to modulate the modulate the main volume and set its speed to 1/4 to get that gating effect for pads and stuff.
If I now play and hold a single note, everything is fine.
But if I now let go of that key, all of a sudden the speed of the LFO gradually goes up during the release of of the ADSR.
If have tried it with lots and lots of different presets, but it happens everytime.I just see no reason why the speed of the LFO should go up, after I let go of the key!?
Any explanation for this, or does it look like a bug? -
