Can i send a patch buffer over sysx (with midi cables) WHILE it is connected to the vst at the same time? so what I want is that the vst follows the sysx..

*edit* I had time to figure it out myself today. Figured out how to make the midi files... sending virus C sysx on it's midi port while the vst is loaded doesn't seem to work.

I just bought a snow a coupple of days back.

As I understand you have to convert sysx banks to .mid to load them in the vst. Can you also load single patches from a virus C this way by saving a sys-ex dump to .mid?

does it matter where the sys-ex starts in the midi file? thanks for the info..
